The following 3 settings are shown on the display:
Extraction temperature, extraction time or clock.
By pressing the ▲ or ▼ buttons, you can choose the settings extraction time and
clock. Extraction time is displayed during the extraction phase. The extraction tem-
perature is displayed in standby mode.
1. Extraction temperature (Shot Temp)
The shot temperature is shown in the display (standard setting: 93 °C), you
can however change the setting and choose any temperature between 86 °C
and 96 °C. You can find more detailed instructions on page 129 in the section
"Programming the extraction temperature".
2. Extraction time (Shot Clock)
The duration of the most recent espresso extraction is briefly displayed in seconds.
3. Clock
The current time is briefly displayed (if the current time has not been set by you,
12.00 is displayed).

1 SHOT OF ESPRESSO
Press the button to make one cup of espresso in the standard setting with an
extraction time of 30 seconds. The extraction starts with the low pressure pre-
infusion function.
The machine stops automatically and returns to standby mode after the amount for
one shot of espresso has been extracted.
2 SHOTS OF ESPRESSO
Press the button to make two cups of espresso in the standard setting with
an extraction time of 30 seconds. The extraction starts with the low pressure pre-
infusion function.
The machine stops automatically and returns to standby mode after the amount for
two shots of espresso has been extracted.
