8. COMMISSIONING

a) Inserting and replacing the batteries
If the batteries are enclosed separately with the delivery, you need to insert the batteries
before you can use the product. 3 AA batteries with 1.5 V/DC are needed for operation.
This description also applies if you have to replace the batteries later, e.g. when the battery
icon B4 lights up.
• First, open the battery compartment of the product. For
this, turn the device so that the display points down.
Turn the screw of the battery compartment lid out with
a Phillips-head screwdriver (see the white square in the
figure) until you can remove it.
Push the battery compartment lid away downwards and
put it aside.
