d) Teaching the Heater actuator to the Valve

The display should still show "INST" after you have installed the
heater actuator to the heater valve as described in chapter 8. a)
to 8. c).
Now push the button "
The display shows "ADAP" and the heater actuator now starts
the teaching process.
When teaching in, the valve drive of the heater actuator is closed
and opened several times to recognise the present adjustment
path of your heater valve.
This process may take several minutes.
After successful teaching, the heater actuator is in regular op-
eration; then the heating time and temperatures can be pro-
grammed.
If teaching must be repeated (e.g. if the heater does
not cool off in the "AUS" position), select the function
"ADAP" in the function menu (see chapter 9) so that
teaching can start again.
If the display shows the error code "E2" install the heater
actuator correctly. Briefl y take out the batteries and in-
sert them again for a reset.

e) Disassembly

Proceed as follows if you need to remove the heater actuator
from the coupling ring:
• Select the function "TEMP" in the function menu (see chapter
9 c), and select "EIN" there.
• Then wait for at least 10 seconds until the valve drive in the
heater actuator has moved to the corresponding position
(heater valve is fully opened).
• Keep the unlocking button at the bottom of the heater actua-
tor pushed fi rmly and remove the heater actuator from the cou-
pling ring.
