8. Initial Commissioning

Before you put the heating unit drive into operation,
mount the control panel in a way that it can be read ea-
sily after assembly (the control panel can be rotated in
90° steps).
a) Insert Batteries
Slide the battery compartment lid (7) downwards.
Insert two type AA/mignon batteries with correct polarity (observe
plus/+ and minus/-, see print next to the battery compartment).
Close the battery compartment again.

b) Setting of Date and Time

After inserting the batteries, the year fl ashes on the display (8).
Set it with the buttons "

The display shows "PREP". The valve drive now retracts complete-
ly to make assembly easier.
When the heater actuator is ready for installation, the display will
show "INST".
Do not push any button anymore now, but install as
described in chapter 8. c).
