c) Installing the Heater actuator

The heating water circuit is not opened when installing the heat-
er. It is not required to drain the water in the heater.
• First open the old thermostat all the way (full heating output).
• Disconnect the old thermostat from the heater. Depending on
how tightly it is attached (e.g. overpainted), you may need a
pipe wrench.
Do not apply any force!
• Depending on heater valve, you may required one of the en-
closed adapters.
First remove the connection bridges between the adapters; see
arrows in the following image:
