11. Troubleshooting

The heater is not warming up
• Check the heating system. Does the boiler work correctly?
• Check if the heater valve is calcifi ed (e.g. after the heating break
in summer).
The heater is not cooling down
• The heater valve is not closed correctly. Perform teaching again
(select the function "ADAP" in the function menu).
• The heater valve may be moving too stiffl y for the valve drive of
the heater actuator.
• The heater valve is calcifi ed or the seal is no longer OK.
Operating piece falls out
• The operating piece (see fi gure on the right) is
moved by the motor drive in the heater actuator
and operates the heater valve.
The attachment piece may drop out if the heater actuator was
not attached on the valve. The display may also show the error
"E1".
Insert it again and start the function "ADAP" in the function
menu. Then, the operating piece is tightened again.
Display shows up weak or doesn't show up at all
• The batteries are empty (poss. display "
batteries for new ones.
The data are retained at a battery change. If required, check if
the time is still correct.
• Check if the standby mode is activated (briefl y push any key to
activate the display) if nothing is visible on the display.
