Safety measures
10.1 Please read right through the operating instructions before
using the system for the first time
10.2 Don't attempt to fly the model aircraft if you have absolutely no
experience of model flying. Ask an experienced model pilot to
set up the aeroplane and test-fly it for you.
10.3 The OAP does not constitute an auto-pilot. The sole purpose
of the system is to maintain the model aircraft in a stable
attitude in the air. The system is not capable of flying the
model automatically, and cannot prevent it stalling. The pilot is
always responsible for determining the model's heading.
10.4 Please check all the system's functions, referring to these
instructions, before flying the model.
10.5 Flying a model fitted with the OAP system is quite different to
flying a model without it. With the system switched on, the
model aircraft always attempts to maintain a level attitude.
This means that the pilot's control commands must be greater
in magnitude when he wishes to control the model
deliberately. If you are a beginner, we recommend that you
leave the OAP system switched on constantly throughout the
flight. If you are an experienced model pilot it is advisable only
to switch the OAP system on in an emergency.
