ENERGY METER (PM533)

The energy cost measuring device is intended for measuring and analysing consumption details of electrical devices. The measuring
device is connected easily between the mains socket and the electric device and requires no additional installation. It is only to be
used with standard domestic mains sockets with a nominal voltage of 230 V/AC. The max. nominal performance must not exceed
3680 watts.
To calculate the costs, the current valid electricity rate can be entered. Further, the device provides a cost forecast per day/month/
year. The consumption details can be displayed and adjusted on the device even when it is unplugged from a power socket. To do
this, the device contains two button cell batteries. The device is only to be used with the specifi ed batteries.
The measuring device is not offi cially calibrated and therefore must not be used for billing purposes.

Inserting/Replacing the Batteries
Before using for the fi rst time or when the display does not show any values after pressing the button, the coin cell batteries must
be inserted or replaced. The batteries are used to ensure that the set parameters and measured values are saved in the device
even when it is unplugged.
The battery compartment (7) must only be opened if the device is unplugged.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
No indicator light on transmitter when pressing "ON"
or "OFF".
Indicator light is on but the appliance does not react.
Appliance switches ON and OFF by itself.
Range is too small.
7.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment
In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment, protect human health and utilise natural resources
prudently and rationally, the user should return unserviceable product to relevant facilities in accordance with statutory
regulations.
The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the product needs to be disposed separately and not as municipal waste.
Used batteries/ rechargeable batteries disposal
The user is legally obliged (battery regulation) to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Disposing used
batteries in the household waste is prohibited! Batteries/ rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances
are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin. The symbol indicates that the product is forbidden to be disposed via the
domestic refuse. The chemical symbols for the respective hazardous substances are Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury,
Pb = Lead.
You can return used batteries/ rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting point of your local authority, our stores
or where batteries/ rechargeable batteries are sold.
Consequently you comply with your legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection!
Remedy
Check that the battery has been put in correctly.
Check that the battery has good contact with the clamps, if need be press
it onto them.
Check that the appliance is switched on.
Check that the channel settings of the remote control and radio-controlled
sockets are identical.
Check that the address of the radio-controlled socket you are aiming the
remote control at is the same as the button you are pushing.
Check - by walking closer to it - that the range is correct for the desired
location.
Disconnect all receivers from the mains supply. Press the reset/recode
button on the transmitter (with batteries inserted). Let the transmitter
and receivers stand inoperative for approx. 6 hours. Then carry out
resynchronisation.
For large ranges, ensure that as few walls and as little furniture as
possible are in the way of the remote control and the radio-controlled
socket.
If the range is too small at times, the reason could be a transmitter which
works on a similar frequency. Whenever this transmitter is active, the
range declines (e.g. wireless headphones, radio-controlled movement
alarms, radio gongs etc.).
