Operation
If the product is overloaded, it may be damaged . The warranty/guarantee will become void in these cases.
Do not plug together several energy cost measuring instruments.
The device is not approved for use in areas where there is a risk of explosions.
Avoid areas with strong magnetic fi elds (motors etc.).
Avoid blows or strong vibrations, as well as the use in direct sunlight.
Plug the energy cost measuring instrument into a domestic wall socket with earth protection and 230 V AC voltage.
Make sure that the electric device you wish to measure is switched off. Connect the mains plug of the electrical device to the earthed
socket (1).
Switch on the electric device and wait a few seconds until the measuring instrument shows the fi rst measured data.
The following displays can be switched between using the control keys:

REMOTE TRANSMITTER (TR502MSV) /
REMOTE ON/OFF RECEIVER (RC710)
The Transmitter TR502MSV is designed to control our Indoor Appliance Receiver RC710. You can use this Transmitter to control
the Receivers RC710 for any plug-in electrical appliances.
The Transmitter has 4 channels, which can control up to 4 receivers.
Intelligent Code setting and Learning function means there is no complicated setting of code switches and interference by other
remote control system is nearly impossible.
Button confi gurations
Transmitter TR502MSV:

The 4 ON buttons will turn on the receiver of the respective channel
OFF
The 4 OFF button will turn off the receiver of the respective channel
BRIGHT
Increase the brightness of the plugged-in lamps
(only applicable for our other "UPM" Brand Dimmer Receivers)
DIM
Decrease the brightness of the plugged-in lamps
(only applicable for our other "UPM" Brand Dimmer Receiver)
ALL ON
Turn on ALL the receivers at the same time.
ALL OFF
Turn off ALL the receivers at the same time.
RESET
Generate a new System code
(located inside the battery compartment)

Setting Up the Remote Transmitter (TR 502MSV)
1.
Open the battery cover at the back of the Transmitter.
2.
Install one 9V battery (included) into the battery compartment while observing the correct polarity.
3.
Using a small pointed object, press the RESET button once to generate a unique System code so that this set of remote control
will not be interfered by other similar systems nearby. The RESET button is located in the top left hand corner of the battery
compartment.
4.
Put the battery cover back onto the Transmitter.
5.
Press one of the ON / OFF buttons to check if the transmitter works; if yes, the indicator light will light.
