6 CONTROLS
6.4 FORWARD/REVERSE PEDAL (A )
Pushing down the top plate of the pedal moves the
machine forward. Pushing down the rear plate
moves the machine in reverse. The further the pedal
is depressed the faster the machine will move. The
pedal automatically returns to the neutral position
when foot pressure is released.
6.5 TRANSPORT/WORK SPEED CONTROL (B )
Sliding the lever towards the front of the machine
limits forward speed to the max work speed and
allows the cutting circuit to be activated. Sliding the
lever to the rear of the machine, deactivates the
cutting circuit and allows the machine to travel at
transport speed. Lever operation illustrated by decal

6.6 PARKING BRAKE (A )
The brake hand lever is situated on the L.H. side of
the steering column. To operate move the hand lever
rearward. To release the parking brake the hand
lever should be moved to its forward position. The
brakes automatically engage when the engine is
switched off
6.7 FORWARD/REVERSE CUTTING CYLINDER
LEVER (G )
The forward/reverse cutting cylinder control lever is
situated on the right hand side of the operator.
The drive to the cutting cylinders is controlled by this
lever and to engage forward drive the lever should be
moved forward for normal rotation for cutting, or
moved backward for reverse rotation, for backlapping
or clearing cylinders. For the neutral position the
lever should be in the central position. The cutting
cylinders will not rotate until the mow foot switch (B
Fig.5) on the left hand foot plate is depressed.
