The setting "INPUT LOW" is required when the
charger is connected to a vehicle lead battery
(instead of via the mains cable). If the set
voltage limit is undercut, the charger terminates
charging of the connected rechargeable battery
and a warning sound is emitted. This setting
protects the vehicle lead battery from deep
discharge.
For "REST TIME", you can set the break
duration between the charge/discharge
process (or discharge/charge process) for the
cycle programme of NiMH/NiCd batteries. The
charger takes a break to let the rechargeable
battery cool off.
The setting "LCD LIGHT" sets the brightness of the display backlighting.
With the option "KEY", confirmation beep for each push of a button is switched on ("ON") or
off ("OFF").
The "BUZZER" switches the signal sound for various functions/warning messages on ("ON")
or off ("OFF").
For "SAFETY OPTION", another setting menu appears; see next page.
To display the version number of the charger firmware, push the button "ABOUT".
Use the button "BACK" to return to the main menu.
