It is advisable to ensure complete documentation from the outset for
commissioning and servicing the Signum
• Draw up a system plan:
– Note local conditions (building, room, ....)
– Note assembly locations (rack, ...)
– Draw up a schematic outline of the wiring structure
– Identify the various components (master, slave, consoles, ...)
– Note length of connecting leads.

• Configuration tables must be completed in full for each signal multiplexer.
The sample table on the opposite page can be copied for future use.
• Both ends of the cables in your Signum plus system should be labelled
clearly and appropriately.
Use cable ties with labelling field or labels sealed in plastic.
