The Signum Optical fibre waveguide link permits the central operator
console to be located up to 1,000 m from the basic Signum
The signals are transferred via a low-loss fibreglass cable with five fibres
(multimode), which is very resistant to interference.

The Signum Optical fibre waveguide link permits the Signum

– with optimum display quality even under extreme conditions, such as
industrial plants with strong electrical interference fields;
– for applications where there are long distances (several stories or
separate buildings) between the various computers, maintaining full
access to the central data processing systems.
