Caution!
In the case of problems
The LC display of the
plus
Signum 1HE is blank and the
unit does not react.
Strange characters appear on
the LC display after switching on
or the unit does not assume its
basic position.
The console mouse does not
work in any channel.
The console mouse does not
work in some channels.
Screen interference
Position/size of scan varies in
different channels.

If, during operation, the picture disappears, the LEDs are extinguished, or
smoke or unusual smells are detected:
• disconnect all connected cables,
plus
• consult your Signum
• Check that your system is correctly installed and connected (
Cause: The mains voltage is missing.
Remedy:
• Check that the mains switch in on.
• Check that the mains cable is inserted into an outlet socket and the
socket on the rear of the unit.
• Check that the outlet socket is operating correctly (do other devices
connected to this socket operate correctly?).
• Disconnect the mains plug and check the primary fuse (
• Try using another mains cable.
• Disconnect the mains plug and check the secondary fuses (
Cause: The unit was switched on again too soon after it was switched off.
Remedy:
• Switch the unit off and wait at least 30 seconds.
• Switch the unit on again.
Cause: Communication with the console mouse is faulty.
Remedy:
• Unplug the console mouse and keyboard, then plug in first the mouse
and then the keyboard.
Cause: Communication with the console mouse is faulty.
Remedy:
• Activate the mouse manually in command mode (
Cause: Potential faults or
interference.
Remedy:
• Make a conductive connection to
the earthing points of the
connected computers at the
functional earth connection.
Cause: The signals from the various graphic cards are not balanced out
correctly by the console monitor.
Remedy:
• Use a higher-grade multisync monitor.
