• If possible, install the Signum
and avoids damage to the case.

If the Signum XB is not installed on rails, hold it horizontal when
tightening the securing screws and tighten the bottom screws first.

• Install the Signum XB in the desired position with four mounting
screws, washers and nuts.

• Connect all Signum components together before connecting the
system to the mains supply.
Different types of cable are available, depending on the connection
concerned ( 2.3.2 ).
• Note the markings on the PS/2 connectors, M (mouse) and K
(keyboard) when connecting the computer.
Poor video quality, particularly at high resolutions and/or with long
cables.
• Use only Siplex and Signum cables for linking connections, boxes and
computers together.
• Avoid excessive tension and sharp bends in the cables and take care
that they are not damaged by sharp edges or unsuitable tools.
• Keep the cables at least 20 cm away from power cables or main
connection cables.
• Secure the cables with suitable means (cable ties, etc.).
• The information on documentation of the system configuration (
must be noted without fail!
Risk of damage to electronic components!
• The mains voltage setting on the combined mains socket on the rear of
the unit must match the actual mains voltage.
• If this is not the case (factory setting: 230 V): adjust the mains voltage
setting uand fit a suitable primary fuse.
