15. Troubleshooting

On the Wunderground website (www.wunderground.com), your weather station/measurements are not
displayed
• Check that you entered the correct station ID and password in the base station.
• Check that the base station is within range of the outdoor sensor. The blue LED indicator (3) should turn on. If the
blue LED indicator (3) does not turn on, press the Wi-Fi/sensor button (1) to start a manual search.
• Disconnect the base station from the power supply for a few seconds. The base station will automatically search for
a signal from the outdoor sensor when it restarts.
• Have you changed the password for your wireless router? If so, enter the new password in the base station.
The base station does not detect the outdoor sensor
• Refer to section 16 for details on the range of the outdoor sensor.
• Disconnect the base station from the power supply for a few seconds. The base station will automatically search
for a signal from the outdoor sensor when it restarts. Alternatively, press the Wi-Fi/sensor button (1) to manually
search for the sensor.
• Reduce the distance between the base station and the outdoor sensor.
• Check the batteries in the outdoor sensor. Are the batteries empty or inserted incorrectly (observe the plus/+ and
minus/- symbols)? If necessary, replace the batteries.
The wind/rainfall measurements are incorrect
• When comparing wind/rainfall measurements with other weather stations or online data, please note that local
conditions can cause significant variations.
Houses, trees and other objects can result in different wind speed/wind direction readings. The same applies to
rainfall readings, as obstructions can prevent rainfall from entering the funnel.
• Check whether leaves or other dirt are blocking the funnel. If so, remove the dirt and try again.
• Check that the outdoor sensor is mounted correctly. The "N" compass marking is located on the top of the sensor.
• Check whether the outdoor sensor has moved (e.g. during a storm). If so, return the sensor to its original position.
The indoor sensor LED indicator (4) flashes/turns on
• This weather station does not come with an indoor sensor, therefore the indoor sensor LED indicator (4) has no
function and should be ignored.
