3. Intended use

This Internet weather station consists of an outdoor sensor and a base station. The measurements from the outdoor
sensor are transmitted wirelessly to the base station. The base station connects to your home router and uploads
the measurements to www.wunderground.com via Wi-Fi. You can view measurements from across the world using a
smartphone, computer or tablet.
The base station is powered by the mains adapter that comes with the product.
The outdoor sensor (measures air pressure, wind direction, wind speed, outdoor temperature/humidity and rainfall)
features a built-in solar module that powers the sensor when there is sufficient sunlight. If the solar module is unable
to power the sensor (e.g. at night), power is provided by 3 AA/Mignon batteries (not included, available separately).
The manufacturer shall not be responsible for inaccurate measurements/weather forecasts or any resulting conse-
quences.
Always observe the safety instructions and any other information in these operating instructions.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product for purposes
other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as a
short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this product
available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.
