15. TROUBLESHOOTING

Observe all safety information in these operating instructions!
No reception of the outdoor sensor data

The distance between basis station and outdoor sensor(s) is too large. Set up
the devices elsewhere.

Radio reception is impaired by proximity to metal objects, cables, lines or
electrical/electronic devices. Set up the devices elsewhere.
—
The batteries of the outdoor sensor are weak or empty. Try inserting new
batteries in the outdoor sensor; then perform a search for the outdoor sensors
at the basis station
—
A different transmitter on the same or an adjacent frequency interferes with
the radio signal of the outdoor sensor. Select a different place of setup.
No DCF Reception
—
Observe the information in chapter 10.
—
If no DCF reception is possible at the setup site, set the time and date manually;
see chapter 12.
Temperature values too high or too low
—
Check the outdoor sensor setup site or cable placement with the external sensor.
Solar irradiation or rain on the sensor may cause incorrect measured values
because the outdoor air temperature is no longer measured.
Strange characters in the basis station or outdoor sensor display
—
Perform a reset.
—
Alternatively, remove the batteries for a few seconds and re-insert them.
