15. Changing the battery

a) Weather station
The batteries require replacement when the display contrast is very weak or the
appears in the time field.
Replace the batteries with a new set according to chapter 9. b).
b) Outdoor sensor
When the batteries in the outdoor sensor are weak, the
outdoor temperature display.
When the batteries are completely empty and the outdoor sensor is no longer transmitting any
measured data, only dashes are displayed in place of the outdoor temperature.
When replacing the batteries, proceed as described in chapter 9. a).
If the weather station can no longer find the outdoor sensor(s), perform a manual
search for the outdoor sensor(s).
Press and hold the ▼ button (5) until the reception icon for the outdoor sensor (17)
flashes on the left of the display.
The sensor search can take several minutes. Do not move the weather station during
this time and do not push any button.

16. Troubleshooting

With this weather station, you have acquired a product that is built according to state-of-the-art
technology and is safe to operate. Even then, problems and malfunctions can occur. For this
reason, the following section provides an explanation on how to rectify possible malfunctions.
No reception of the signal of an outdoor sensor
If the weather station does not receive any measured data from the outdoor sensor, only dashes
are displayed in place of the outdoor temperature on the weather station display.
In this case, observe the following notes:
• Start a manual search for the outdoor sensor signal (see chapter 11).
