Cross-over units
All  loudspeakers share certain outstanding features,
including exceptional peak power handling, extreme linearity of
the frequency and phase response. These qualities are due
primarily to the FSR (Fast Signal Response) cross-over units
developed by .
The top surface of the circuit boards used for these cross-over
units features a solid layer of copper whose sole purpose is to act
as ground conductor.
The copper tracks on the under-side connect the electronic
components. This method of construction ensures that the
sensitive ground potential is not affected by large signal cur-
rents.
This circuit design minimises unwanted signal influences such as
intermodulation effects and interference between the individual
transfer paths.
Since there are no narrow conductor tracks to cause voltage
drops, the circuits can carry much higher cur-rents.
The cross-over unit components are of extremely low-resistance
design, and losses in the circuit are virtually zero.
Where large capacitance values are required, several smaller
capacitors are connected together in parallel in order to reduce
series inductivity and rise times.
All internal wiring inside our speaker cabinets consists of high-
quality cable of large cross-sectional area.
