Connecting the parachute to the harness
An additional steel screw carabiner is required for the connection of the parachu-
te to the bridle of the harness/front container. We recommend the maillon Rapide
from Peguet.
The carabiner/maillon must have a minimum breaking load of at least 2400 daN
and is secured in position with O-rings or a neoprene
transverse loading, the maillon loses 50% strength).
Webbing and bridles must always rest in their full width on the screw carabiner/
maillon. Tighten the gate with an adjustable spanner.
We do not recommend connecting the parachute bridle directly to the Y-bridle of
the harness. Badly executed knots can make the rescue system less effective.

Fitting in the harness parachute
reserve container
When fitting the parachute in the harness/front container, make sure you follow
the harness manufacturers instructions. Perform a complete system compatibili-
ty test. This compatibility test must be undertaken by a suitably qualified person.
Confirmation of the compatibility test must be noted in the parachute log book/
manual.
Pre-flight check
In addition to the normal pre-flight check (see operating instructions of the para-
glider/harness), the proper closure of the rescue container and the correct location
of the deployment handle must be checked before each take off. If the bridle is dis-
connected after every flight (for example, on a front-mounted container system),
the pre-flight check must also include the correct attachment of the bridle.
Final Inspection
Check you have all the packing tools and accessories (nothing accidentally left in
the parachute/bag) and then note any work undertaken in the parachute's log book/
manual.
