Close the deployment bag by securing the fourth leaf with the remaining lines.
Increasingly, harnesses are delivered with a deployment bag/handle. When using
this kind of set-up it is essential to check that the deployment bag is compatible
with the selected parachute. Please note the following points:
1. The certified volume of the handle/deployment bag must match the volume of
the parachute. The shape of the parachute must be adapted to the externally
supplied harness container system by repacking it.
2. The deployment bag must guarantee trouble-free release of the parachute.
Warning: Opening characteristics with third party deployment bags (extract from
the new LTF 2009): The original deployment bag supplied by the manufacturer is
part of the certification process. All certification tests use the manufacturer's de-
ployment bag. Using a different deployment bag from another supplier may cause
a change in the opening characteristics or even lead to a rescue system malfunc-
tion
