The unit has not reached the correct temperature. Lights are on ... - Make sure that:
• The main switch is on
• The temperature on the thermostat is properly set
• The thermostat is working properly
• The coindenser is not contaminated, clean it if necessary
• The ambient temperature is no higher than 25ºC
• Enough time has passed for the products to cool
• The device vents are not blocked
(Applies to "IGLOO" thermostat) The thermostat displays C0 or C1 or C2 instead of the temperature:
This means that one of the temperature sensors of the temperature controller has been damaged.
The following messages may appear:
• C0 – damage to the temperature sensor inside the chamber - call authorised service
• C1 – evaporator sensor failure - call authorised service
• C2 – condenser alarm sensor failure (or damage to the second sensor of the evaporator) - call authorised service
Applies to "CAREL" thermostat) The thermostat displays E0 or E1 or L0 or HI or EE or Ed or DF
instead of the temperature:
• E0 - damaged sensor inside the chamber - call authorised service
• E1 - evaporator sensor failure - call authorised service
• L0 – low temperature alarm (less than the set range of the unit) - call authorised service
• HI - high temperature alarm - call authorised service
• EE - internal error of the controller - call authorised service
• Ed – exceeded max. defrost time
• DF – defrosting in progress (this is not an alarm)
(Applies to „IGLOO" thermostat) The device is working, but the sound is off ...-Make sure that:
• The condenser is not dirty, clean it if necessary
• The condenser fan is working
• The ambient temperature does not exceed 25ºC
The device is too noisy ...- Make sure that:
• The device is stable
• Furniture adjacent to the unit does not vibrate when the compressor is running
Noises made by the operating device are a normal phenomenon. The devices are equipped with ventila-
tors, engines and compressors, which turn on and off automatically. Each compressor makes certain
noises when operating. These sounds are made by the aggregate engine and by cooling agent
flowing through the circuit. This phenomenon constitutes a technical feature of cooling devices
and it does not signify their faulty work.
Steam precipitation on glasses of the device is a normal phenomenon in case of high relative air
humidity exceeding 60% and does not require calling the service!
