8. Slide on the outer blade collar –
observe direction of rotation: The chamfered
side must face away from the saw blade!
9. Screw in arbor bolt (left-hand thread!), tighten
fingertight only.
To lock the saw blade in position, depress the
lock knob and turn the saw blade with the other
hand until the lock engages.

Danger!
− Do not extent arbor bolt tightening wrench.
− Do not tighten arbor bolt by hitting on the
wrench.
− After tightening the arbor bolt release the
lock knob, so the blade can turn freely.
10. Guide blade guide over the bare side of the saw
blade.
11. Rotate blade guard mounting plate clockwise by
approx. 90 ° and align so that the right-hand
screw (B) kann be screwed-in.

12. Tighten both screws (A) and (B).
13. Check functioning. To do so swing the safety
lock lever to the side and lower the sawhead:
− the retractable blade guard must release the
saw blade when the sawhead is swung down,
without touching other parts.
− When lifting the saw head up to its rest posi-
tion the retractable blade guard must auto-
matically cover the saw blade.
− Turn saw blade by hand. It must run freely in
any sawhead setting position, without touch-
ing any other parts.

Turntable setting adjustments
In order for the turntable to be at the correct angle
indicated by the positive stops, the fence needs to
be adjusted:
1. Loosen locking screw on fence.
2. Set turntable to 0° position.
3. Tighten locking screw on fence.
4. Swing sawhead down and lock with locking pin.
5. Loosen both screws on fence.
6. With a try square set the fence exactly square
(90°) against the saw blade.
7. Tighten both screws on fence.

Kerf plate replacement

The kerf plate must be replaced if the slot is dam-
aged.
1. Remove the damaged kerf plate from the saw
table (put a screw driver into the slot and lever
the kerf plate out of the table).
2. Insert new kerf plate.
