In addition to the digital display of the measured humidity or temperature
value, the Novasina AW SPRINT has an analogue output for both the
humidity and the temperature value.
The two analogue outputs on the back of the instrument supply a voltage
signal proportional to the measured values:
0.0 – 10.0 VDC; min. load resistance 10 k Ω.
– aw:
0.0 – 10.0 VDC; min. load resistance 10 k Ω.
– T:
The analogue outputs are configured in the menu mode (see chapter 5).

The Novasina AW SPRINT can be connected to a printer or a PC via the
RS232 interface (25-pin D-sub plug) on the front of the measuring converter.

More recent Epson and Epson-compatible printers can be connected
directly by means of a shielded RS232 cable commercially available (non-
crossed, D-Sub 25m/25f). In the case of printers with a small data buffer,
this buffer must under circumstances be connected by means of the Epson
printer adapter available as an accessory.
Seiko printers are connected by a shielded RS232 cable commercially
available (non-crossed, D-Sub 25m/25f), and the Seiko printer adapter
available as an accessory.
Note: always switch on the Novasina AW SPRINT first, followed by the
printer. On the printer select the PC character set 437 or 850.
