Whenever the measuring instrument is switched on, the calibration
functions are disabled ("NO") to prevent unintended changing of the
calibration values. To enable calibration functions:
Activate the menu mode and select main menu point "02".
To enable the calibration functions, select "YES".
Note: To avoid accidental changing of calibration values we recommend
disabling the calibration functions again after completing the application.
Activate the menu mode and select main menu point "04".
Call the submenu by pressing <Enter>. You may select the individual
submenus one after the other by pressing the < > oder < > key.
– The first eight menu points indicate the calibration values for the
8 humidity reference points: 4, 6, 11, 33, 53, 75, 90 and 98.
The calibration values indicated are the actual values measured dur-
ing the last calibration and converted to 25°C.
If a humidity reference point is not calibrated, "--.-%RH" is displayed.
Note: To guarantee an accurate measurement, the instrument must
be calibrated at at least 2 humidity reference points, and at all
possible humidity reference points for highly accurate meas-
urements over the full range.
– The nineth menu point shows the heating compensation value
(HC value). The HC value is automatically determined in the basic
calibration and cannot be changed. It compensates for the meas-
ured value deviation which is caused by heating of the measuring
cell.
– You can print out the calibration protocol in the tenth menu point.
Note: The printout can only be started if the RS232 interface has
been configured for the printer operation (see chapter 5.5). If this is
not the case, "NOT AVAIL" appears on the second line of the display.
• You start the protocol printout by selecting "YES".
