The main menu points for setting the extended instrument parameters only
appear when the <Stable> and <Actual> keys are pressed simultaneous-
ly during the switching on of the instrument.

Setting the temperature stability factor
Activate the menu mode and select main menu point C1 by pressing the
< > oder < > key.
You set the temperature stability factor in this main menu point. With the
temperature stability factor you set the interval of time in which the
measured value may still vary by a minimum value to be regarded as
stable. The factory setting is "1" (shortest time interval).
Note: If the temperature of the material to be measured deviates
substantially from the measuring chamber temperature, the stable aw
value may deviate more than is desirable from the effective limit value.
In this case the increase in temperature stability factor gives rise to a
more accurate stable aw value.

Setting the temperature calibration value (TC value)
The temperature sensor used in the measuring cell of the Novasina AW
SPRINT is calibrated ex works. If you want to adapt the temperature sensor
to your own reference, you may correct any deviation with the TC value.
Activate the menu mode and select main menu point C2 by pressing the
< > oder < > key.
In this main menu point you set the deviation of the temperature sensor
(in K) from your reference. If the TC value is 0.0 K, the temperature sensor
was calibrated with the factory reference.

Establishing line feed for protocol printout
Activate the menu mode and select main menu point C3 directly by
pressing the < > key.
You set the line feed in this main menu point. This enables you to feed
the paper, after a protocol printout, by as many lines as are required to
cause the paper tear-off edge to come to rest at the right point. The
Formfeed setting causes one full page to be fed (for laser and inkjet
printers).
