The Sicomatic® econtrol meets the requirements of the
EC directive 97/23/EC. Some of the statutory prescribed
safety precautions are considerably exceeded.

6 | Before each use

Check the safety mechanisms before you use
your Sicomatic® econtrol.
Warning
This helps to avoid dangerous situations during use.
Check the aroma sealing cap
If the aroma sealing cap is not fastened correctly or is
damaged, this may result in the release of hot steam
or sudden evaporation. This can damage the lid shaft
handle.
→ Check that the aroma sealing cap is fastened correctly
(see fig.).
→ Check the aroma sealing cap for damage (tears, holes,
deformation and brown discolouration).
→ If the aroma sealing cap is damaged, do not use the
cooker.
→ Only use original Sicomatic® econtrol spare parts.
