Fill Pump
1. Position the intake pipe in the paint pail and submerge
it in paint.
2. Turn ON/OFF switch to ON position.
3. Wait until paint escapes from the drain tube.
4. Turn ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
NOTE: Some fluids may prime faster if the ON/OFF
switch is momentarily turned off so the pump can slow
and stop. Turn ON/OFF switch on and off several times if
necessary.
Fill Gun and Hose
1. Hold the spray gun against the waste pail. Hold the
spray gun into the waste pail (nozzle tip holder and tip
disassembled).
a. Disengage the trigger lock.
b. Pull and hold gun trigger.
c. Set the bypass valve to SPRAY.
d. Turn ON/OFF switch to ON position.
2. Trigger gun into waste pail until exclusively drawn in
paint escapes from the gun.
3. Release the trigger. Engage trigger lock.
4. Position the drain tube in the paint pail and reconnect
it to the intake pipe.
NOTE: When motor stops, sprayer is ready to paint. If
motor continues to run, sprayer is not properly primed.
Repeat Fill Pump and Fill Gun and Hose. Make sure that
enough paint is available in the paint pail and that the
intake filter of the intake hose is completely submerged
in the paint.
Material setting: it may be required to dilute the coa-
ting substance depending on the viscosity. In this context,
please note the technical data sheet of the coating sub-
stance.
Spray
Spray Tip Installation
To prevent spray tip leaks make certain spray tip and tip
guard are installed properly.
1. Carry out the pressure relief procedures.
2. Engage the trigger safety lock.
3. Verify spray tip and tip guard parts are assembled in the
order shown.
a) Spray tip
b) Rubber/metal gasket
c) Tip guard
d) Retaining nut
a. Use spray tip to align gasket and seal in the tip guard.
b. Push the spray tip all the way into the tip guard. Turn
the tip from one side to another and simultaneously press
it down when inserting it.
