Mains power connection

• The product is equipped with a mains cable with an
earthed plug. This can be connected to any mains
socket 220-240 V~ 50 Hz with an earth contact and
that is protected at 16 A.
• Before commissioning, ensure that the mains voltage
matches with the operating voltage and the machine's
power rating on the type plate.

• Long supply cables, extensions, cable reels, etc.
cause a drop in voltage and can impede motor start-
up.
• At low temperatures below +5 °C, sluggishness may
make starting difficult or impossible.

10 Operation

10.1
On/Off switch (4) (Fig. 5)
1. Insert the mains plug into a properly fused socket.
2. Pull the On/off switch (4) upwards to switch on the
compressor.
3. Press the On/off switch (4) down to switch off.
10.2
Adjusting the pressure (Fig. 6)
1. The pressure at the manometer (3) is adjusted with
the pressure regulator (3a).
The pressure set can be utilised by connecting to the
quick-coupling (2).
2. The vessel pressure can be read off at the pressure
gauge (3a).
The vessel pressure is taken at the quick-coupling (2).
10.3
Fitting the compressed air hose*
(Fig. 6)
Connect the plug nipple* of the compressed air hose* to

11 Electrical connection

The connection complies with the applicable national
provisions.
Connections and repair work on the electrical equipment
may only be carried out by electricians.
• Before commissioning, ensure that the mains voltage
matches with the operating voltage on the type plate.
• Pay attention to the manufacturer's instructions when
using extension cables.
When working with spray attachments and during tempo-
rary use outdoors, the product must be connected to a re-
sidual current circuit breaker with a trigger current of 30
mA or less.
11.1
Damaged electrical connection
cables
The insulation on electrical connection cables is often
damaged.
This may have the following causes:
• Pressure points, where connection cables are passed
through windows or doors,
• Kinks where the connection cable has been improper-
ly fastened or routed,
• Places where the connection cables have been cut
due to being driven over,
• Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the wall
socket,
• Cracks due to the insulation ageing.
