Attach the saw blade flange on the outside (12c)
and secure the whole assembly with the hexagon
nut (12e).

Tighten the hex nut (12e) with the installation tool
(14) provided as shown in fig. 14.

Fit the saw blade guard on the outside (12b) and
fasten this with the Phillips head screws and wash-
ers (H). (Fig. 15)

Setting up the swivel frame (4) (Fig. 16-18)
1.
Remove the spring split pin (6b) and a washer (Fig.
16). Keep these in your hand.
2.
Now set up the swivel frame (4). Make sure that
the return spring (6) and the second washer do not
fall out.
3.
Feed the rod of the return spring (6) through the
hole provided for it.
4.
Replace the previously removed washer on the
rear side and then secure the return spring (6) with
the spring split pin (6b) that was removed earlier.

Secure the chain (7) with the hex screw, the two
washers and the nut. (I1)

Secure the guide (4f) to the threaded rod provided
using the self-locking nut and the two washers (I2).

Install the plate (4e) and secure it with the two Phillips
screws (J). (Fig. 18)

Guard (2) (fig. 19)
1.
Mount the protective device (2) on the right side
of the fixings as shown in Fig. 19. Insert the three
collar bushings and nuts (K) into the three holes on
the brackets of the protective device (2).
2.
Secure the protective device (2) with the three
screws, lock washers and hexagon nuts (K).
3.
Hook in the spring (G1).

Swivel frame extension (13) (Fig. 20)
1.
Insert the swivel frame extension (13) into the
opening (13a) on the left side of the swivel frame
(4) and align it so that the firewood rests on it in a
good position.
2.
Secure the swivel frame extension (13) with the
wing screw (B2).

Rip fence (3) (fig. 21)
1.
The pre-mounted wing screw (3a) on the right rear
side of the swivel frame (4) is used to fix the rip
fence (3) in its position.

10. Before commissioning

m Attention!
Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!
• Follow the safety instructions.
• Make sure that the machine is stable on solid ground
during assembly. The feet must not be left hanging.
• For your safety in the workplace, fasten the machine
to the floor with screws or bolts to prevent it tipping
or sliding. Use the mounting holes (8) located on
each foot for this purpose. (see Fig. 1)
• The workplace must be well lit.
• The area around the machine must be free of trip
hazards.
• Before commissioning, check that the voltage on the
product type plate corresponds to the mains voltage.
• Check the swivel frame. This must return from the
work position to the starting position automatically.
• All safety devices and aids must be installed.
• Check that the saw blade is properly seated and
that the running direction is correct.
• Perform a functional test prior to commencing work.
• The machine is designed exclusively for cross-cut-
ting firewood.
• Regardless of the wood diameter, never more than
one piece with a min. Ø 30 mm may be placed on
the swivel frame. Do not saw bundles of wood or
several pieces at the same time.
• The wood to be sawn must not be fixed by hand.
• Only carry out modifications, adjustments, meas-
urements and cleaning work with the engine
switched off. Wait for the rotating tool to stop and
disconnect the mains plug.

11. Operating/working notes

11.1 ON/OFF switch (11a) (Fig. 3)
1.
To switch on the machine, press the "I" button on
the on/off switch (11a). Wait until the saw blade (12)
has reached its maximum speed before starting
sawing.
2.
To switch off the machine, press the "0" button on
the on/off switch (11a).
11.2 Sawing process
m Attention! When sawing curved wood, the curved
side must be aligned with the saw blade slot. Other-
wise, the wood may tilt and jam during the cutting pro-
cess, which could damage the machine.

Switch the machine on as described in 11.1.
