5. Press the display cable into the cable clips on the frame of the scale until you feel
them engage.
6. Set the scale upright.
► Fit the supplied ramp as described in the relevant assembly instructions.
1. Ensure that all components are correctly located.
2. Ensure that all cables are correctly routed.
3. Ensure that all screws are fully tightened.

1. Loosen the battery compartment screws.
2. Remove the lid of the battery compartment.
3. Remove the battery block from the battery compartment.
4. Remove the connector cable from the battery compartment.
5. Connect the connector cable to the battery block.
6. Insert the battery block into the battery compartment.
7. Screw the battery compartment lid onto the battery compartment.

Personal injury or damage to the device as a result of incorrect power supply
units
Conventional power supply units may deliver a higher voltage than is indicated
on them. The measuring device may overheat, catch fire, melt or short-circuit.
► Use only original seca power supply units with a controlled 12 V output volt-
age.
1. If required, insert the power supply connector necessary for your power supply into
the power supply unit.
2. Insert the device connector of the power supply unit into the connecting socket of
the scale.
3. Plug the power supply unit into a power supply socket.
4. Allow the scale to charge on the network for at least 24 hours when it is first
charged so that the battery block is completely charged.
