Preparations

The model ship „Mini Wavebreaker" is delivered ready for operation. Only a few steps are required for commissio-
ning.
Before taking the model into operation, read each section carefully. There always is a picture enclosed for
better understanding.
Only carry out the steps described in the different sections if you have completely understood the procedure
and know exactly what to observe.
a) Charging the Drive Battery
Important!
The drive battery is charged with the charger from the scope of delivery. Since this charger does not have
any switch-off automatic, you need to supervise the charging process and disconnect the battery from the
charger in time.
• Plug the charger (1) into a proper mains socket.
• Connect the drive battery (2) to the charger cable. Observe the polarity.
The plug connection of the rechargeable battery (3) and the charger (4) are protected against polarity reversal. The
„holding bracket" of the charging cable (5) must latch in the „latch" of the battery plug (6).
• Once the battery has been connected to the charger, charging commences automatically. Write down or remember
the starting time of charging.
