Power supply
3.1.
Batteries
The camera runs on 8 AA size batteries. The product can work with alkaline, lithium
or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
You can purchase alkaline or Ni-MH AA batteries at any time on
www.numaxes.com.
Before inserting or removing the batteries, the camera must be turned off (switch
in the OFF position).
When inserting the batteries, make sure to follow polarities indicated inside the
battery compartment. Upside down batteries may cause device malfunction.
NOTE: Don't mix battery types (alkaline, lithium and Ni-MH)! This may cause
permanent damage not covered by the guarantee.
Remove the batteries from the camera if you are not using it for 3 months or more.
The batteries could leak and damage your product.
3.2.
Solar panel
The device can also operate with a solar with built-in battery (6V/2A).
You can purchase a 6V solar panel at any time on www.numaxes.com.
3.3.
External power supply
The device can also operate with an external power supply (6V/2A).
We recommend removing the AA batteries when an external power supply is used.

4.
Installing the memory card
The camera doesn't have an internal
memory.
Using a memory card is required to
operate the camera (micro-SD card from
4GB up to 128GB maximum – class 10
minimum).
You can purchase micro-SD cards at any
time at www.numaxes.com.
In SETUP mode, if no memory card is inserted, the LDC screen displays "No memory
card".
Before inserting or removing the memory card, the camera must be turned off
(switch in the OFF position). Failing to do so may cause loss of or damage the files
already recorded on the card.
