Electrical installation
For the connection of pin 9 and 10 only use cable with twisted cores, e. g. the SICK
connecting cables available as accessories (see chapter 4.2 "Accessories" on page 23).
If you do not use either a SICK switching amplifier or a SICK bus node, then we
recommend to improve the EMC behaviour, especially on cascaded systems, the
termination of the connections pin 9 and 10 (device communication EFI) on the system
connection in the control cabinet using a resistor of 182
2027227).
If you do not connect the connections pin 9 and 10 at the host system plug, no
termination resistor in the control cabinet is necessary.
