Preparing to inhale

- Follow the hygiene regulations before the device is used for the
first time, before it is re-used, and after any long break in use.
- Ensure that the nebuliser was cleaned, disinfected, and, if appro-
priate, sterilised after the last treatment (see Chapter 6 "Hygienic
re-use").

4.1 Assembling the nebuliser

The individual nebuliser parts are assembled as follows:
• Push the airflow control (6) as far as
it will go onto the nozzle (7) and then
push both parts into the medication
cup from below (5).
• Insert the medication cup in the neb-
uliser lower section (1).
• Screw the nebuliser upper sec-
tion (2) onto the nebuliser lower
section.
• Slide the chamber (4) into the neb-
uliser upper section.
• Attach the mouthpiece (3).
• Attach the adapter (9) to the neb-
uliser lower section (1) and connect
the connection tubing (10) to it.
• Connect the other end of the con-
nection tubing to the compressor or
insert it in the compressed air outlet
in the hospital wall provided for this
purpose.
