The patient can control the nebulisation by
pressing and releasing the interrupter button:
When the button is depressed, aerosol escapes
through the mouthpiece, releasing the button
interrupts the nebulising process.
• Tell the patient to breathe in through the
mouthpiece as slowly and deeply as possible
while pressing the button, and to breathe out
through the mouthpiece after releasing the
button.
The exhaled air should escape through the
nebuliser upper section.
• For continuous nebulising, the patient can press the interrupter button and
gently turn it clockwise to lock it in position.
The device may be supplied with interrupter button locked in this
position. In this case, only continuous nebulising is possible.
To release the lock, turn the interrupter button counterclockwise.
