Inhalation
- Before the patient starts inhaling, ensure that all parts are firmly
connected to each other.
- Ensure that the airflow control is fully seated on the nozzle.
- Ensure that the air outlets are connected firmly to the air connec-
tion of the PARI compressor or the compressed air supply and to
the nebuliser.
Nebulisation can be adversely affected by an incorrectly assembled
nebuliser.
• Tell the patient to sit upright and relax.
• If necessary, switch the compressor on.
• Tell the patient to hold the mouthpiece
between his or her teeth and enclose it firmly
with the lips.
