Factors with a potential influence on the actual im-
mission level at the workplace include the duration of
impact, the type of room, and other sources of noise
etc., e. g. the number of machines and other neigh-
bouring operations.
Reliable workplace values may also vary from coun-
try to country. With this information the user should
at least be able to make a better assessment of the
dangers and risks involved.

• Check that the voltage on the rating plate is the
same as your supply voltage before you connect
the equipment to the power supply.
• Only ever connect the equipment to a properly in-
stalled shock-proof socket which is protected by a
10A fuse as a minimum.
8.2 Mounting the saw on a workbench, fig. 5
• The necessary tools and small parts for assem-
bling the saw on a workbench are not supplied
with the saw.
• A foam rubber base for reduction of noise is not
supplied with the saw either. However, we express-
ly recommend that you use such a base to keep
vibration and noise to a minimum. Ideal size 400
x 240 mm.
• However, use equipment of at least the following
size:
E Saw body
F Foam rubber base
G Work bench
H Flat seal
I Washer
J Hexagonal nut
K Lock nut
L Hexagonal bolt
Required for installing:
• 4 hexagonal bolts 6 mm x length
• 4 flat seals (7 mm)
• 4 washers (7 mm)
• 8 hexagonal nuts (6 mm)
The length of the screws to be used varies, depend-
ing on the thickness of the table top.
WARNING
Danger of injury! Disconnect the mains plug on the
scroll saw before all assembly work.
1. Mount the scroll saw on a solid wooden work ta-
ble. In this way, you can keep vibration and noise
to a minimum.
2. Drill 4 holes with a diameter of 8 mm into the
workbench.
3. Screw the scroll saw onto the workbench with the
hexagonal bolts.
4. Tighten the hexagonal nuts.
9. Assembly
9.1 Setting the saw bench, fig. 2
Setting the angle scale
• Release the star button (A and bring the saw bench
(B) to a right angle (C) in relation to the saw blade.
