Possible cause
No power, discharged battery.
Faulty switch lock or switch.
Worn carbon brushes.
Motor defective.
The grass is too long.
Blockage of mower blade by
foreign objects.
Cutting height too low.
The knife is dull.
Blocked cutting blade.
The knife is not properly
attached.
The blade is blocked by the
grass.
Blade screw is too loose.

Solution to the problem
Check that the battery and the key
are properly seated.
Have the repair work carried out
BY an authorized MURRAY dealer.
Set a higher cutting height.
Remove the lock, clean the
underside of the mower and the
area to be cut.
Set a higher cutting height.
Sharpen the knife or have it
sharpened by an authorized
service provider.
Remove the lock, clean the
bottom of the mower.
Check and correct the knife
mounting.
Remove the grass from the blade
area, clean the underside of the
mower.
Tighten the screw securing the

Replace the knife with a new one.
Stop operation and wait at least
10 minutes.
