Disconnect the charger from the mains before cleaning it.
Do not use attachments that are not specifically designed and recommended by the
manufacturer for this device. The fact that the attachment can be mounted is not
a guarantee of safe use.
Wear personal protective equipment: Goggles or goggles, protective gloves, safety shoes
and protective clothing. Wear hearing protection. Prolonged exposure to noise can lead
to hearing loss.
Clean the ventilation slots of the equipment regularly. The motor blower draws dust into
the housing and a large accumulation of metal dust can cause an electrical hazard.
Do not use the power tool near flammable materials. Sparks can ignite them.
Beware of sharp edges of knives. The knives continue to rotate when the engine is
switched off.
Only use the mower in good condition, perform the necessary operations, or contact
your service personnel if necessary. We recommend that you use the services of an
authorized MURRAY service.
Before each start-up, check that:
–
the device is assembled according to the instructions;
–
the cutting tool and the entire cutting unit (mower blade, fasteners, cutter housing)
are in good working order; check regularly for secure, damaged and worn operation
(recesses or cracks);
–
safety devices (e.g. discharge guard, housing, steering handle, engine brake lever) are
in good working order;
–
the grass basket is undamaged and properly installed, you cannot use a damaged
grass basket.
Do not operate the mower if the knife is not properly installed. Danger of dangerous
vibrations!
Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Keeping the cutting edges sharp reduces the
likelihood of jamming and facilitates handling.
Switch off the appliance and remove the battery before adjusting, cleaning,
maintenance.
Do not mow when other people, especially children or animals, are nearby.
Do not operate a damaged mower.
Do not touch the knives until the equipment is switched off and the knives have come
to a complete stop.
Do not lift or move the appliance with the engine running.
Switch off the mower and remove the battery when:
– leaving the equipment unattended,
– before adjustment,
– before checking, cleaning or repairing the appliance,
– after being hit by a foreign object,
– before cleaning the outlet,
