OPENING (Fig. 6)
RELEASE PRESSURE INSIDE THE VESSEL ENTIRELY BEFORE OPENING THE PRESSURE COOKER!
Push the operating valve arm down several times towards the lid surface using a fork or some other suit-
able tool – steam will begin to escape from the valve.
Then raise the small arm to a vertical position and wait before all steam escapes and the pressure cooker
is ready to be opened.
Turn the lid handle over to the "open"position, incline the lid and remove it from the vessel.
BE CAREFUL WHEN REDUCING PRESSURE AND OPENING THE PRESSURE COOKER TO AVOID THE RISK OF
SCALDING. NEVER USE EXCESSIVE FORCE WHEN OPENING THE VESSEL!
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
BRUSH THE SEAL BELOW THE UPPER RIM OF THE VESSEL WITH COOKING FAT BEFORE EACH USE, AT LEAST
ONCE A MONTH.
Thoroughly wash the pressure cooker and wipe it dry after each use. Never use aggressive chemicals, sand-
based agents, sharp and hard objects or scourers for cleaning. If excessively soiled, leave to soak over night
in water with detergent.
The pressure cooker vessel is dishwasher safe, the lid is not!
Should white stains due to scale formation appear on the inside surface, use vinegar, lemon drops or clean-
ing agent for stainless steel to clean them. The white stains do not affect the functioning of the cookware
and are not hazardous to health. As such they do not represent a fault and cannot be claimed.
When the cooker is overheated, purple to brown stains might appear on the surface. These stains do not
affect correct functioning of the cookware and are not hazardous for health. As such they do not represent
a fault and cannot be claimed.
Do not make any alterations to the operating and safety valves or the pressure cooker itself. If a part needs
to be replaced such as the pressure cooker seal etc., use exclusively original spare parts.
ALWAYS STORE THE PRESSURE COOKER OPEN!
