1 Explanation of the symbols on the product
Symbols are used in this manual to draw your attention to potential hazards. The safety symbols and the accompanying expla-
nations must be fully understood. The warnings themselves will not rectify a hazard and cannot replace proper accident pre-
vention measures.
Attention! Failure to observe the safety
signs and warning information affixed to
the product and failure to observe the
safety and operating manual can result in
serious injury or even death.
Before commissioning, read and observe
the operating manual and safety instruc-
tions!
Wear hearing protection. Wear safety gog-
gles.
Make sure that other persons maintain a
sufficient safety distance.
Do not mow uphill or downhill.
Before operating the lawnmower, remove
any small parts lying around that could be
thrown about.
Danger due to parts flying off while the en-
gine is running.
Remove the spark plug connector prior to
all maintenance work.
Danger of poisoning! Only use the product
outdoors and never in closed or poorly
ventilated rooms.
Keep your hands and feet away from the
rotating blades.

Do not refuel while the engine is hot or
running.
