2. Slide the table width enlargement (6) onto the
table mounted on the machine. Ensure that the
tightening lever (8) is open (Fig. 7.1+7.2).
3. Push the table width extension fully onto the table
(Fig. 7.3) in order to fix the two bolts (d) on both
sides. (Fig. 7.4) Be sure to fit the bolts (d) on both
sides. The two bolts are used to limit the exten-
sion of the table width enlargement.
8.4 Fitting the parallel stop (Fig. 8)
1. Fit the parallel stop (5) by positioning it at the back
and fixing the clamping lever (K) in place down-
wards.
2. When dismantling, pull the clamping lever (K) up-
wards and remove the parallel stop (5).
3. The clamping force of the parallel stop can be ad-
justed at the rear knurled nut (P).
8.5 Adjusting the cutting width (Fig. 8 + 8.1)
The parallel stop (5) must be used when cutting sec-
tions of wood lengthways.
1. Place the parallel stop (5) on the guide rail (Q) to
the left or right of the sawing blade
2. 2 scales (L/M) are printed on the guide rail for
the parallel stop (5), which show the distance be-
tween the stop rail and sawing blade.
3. Adjust the parallel stop (5) to the required dimen-
sion in the window (O) and use the clamping lever
(8) to fix in place for the parallel stop. (Fig. 8)
8.6 Using the table width extension (Fig. 9-10)
1. Always use the table width extension (6) with par-
ticularly wide workpieces.
2. Loosen the clamping lever (8) and pull the table
width extension out far enough so that the work-
piece to be sawn can lie on it without tilting. (Fig.
10)
8.7 Saw band change (Fig. 11 + 12)
Attention: Pull out the mains plug!
1. Remove the parallel stop and the table width ex-
tension in reverse order (Fig. 7-8).
2. Open the saw band guard, top and bottom.
3. Relieve the saw band tension with the clamping
screw (11) (Fig. 11), remove the band.
4. Insert a new saw band.
5. Side correction (Fig. 11)
The saw band should run centrally on both band
wheels.
6. Turn the upper band wheel by hand in the cut-
ting direction and use the handle (J) to make the
lateral correction.
Attention! The saw band should run over the cen-
tre of the band wheel after multiple turns. Visual
inspection!

7. Turn the band wheel by hand in the cutting di-
rection and at the same time set the final tension
with the tensioning screw (11). The tension de-
pends on the saw band width. Wide saw bands
must be tensioned more than narrow ones.
8. After setting, tighten the counternut (N). Close
the protective cover.
Attention! Excessively high tension leads to pre-
mature breakage!
9. Fit the table width enlargement in reverse order.
(Fig. 7-7.4)
10. On completion of work, always relieve tension on
the saw blade! To do this, loosen the tensioning
screw (11).
8.8 Speed adjustment (Fig. 12 + 13 + 13.1)
Pull out the mains plug!
1. Open the lower protective cover. The saw table
must be slightly tilted.
2. Release the tension on the belt with the tension-
ing screw (12).
3. Move the belt to the desired position (S1 or S2).
4. Tension the belt again with the tensioning screw
(12).
5. Close the lower protective cover.
Speed range:
Speed stage 1 660 m/min.
For processing hardwood, materials similar to hard-
wood and for fine cuts.
Speed stage 2 960 m/min.
For processing softwoods and for less fine cuts.
8.9 Saw band guide (Fig. 14)
By loosening the locking knob (13), the saw band
guide can be adjusted.
The upper saw band guide can be set from 0 - 175
mm workpiece height.
The smallest possible distance to the workpiece en-
sures optimal belt guidance and safe working!
Counterpressure bearings (Fig. 15 + 16)
The counterpressure bearings (e) absorb the feeding
pressure of the workpiece. Adjust the top and bottom
counter pressure bearing so that it lightly touches the
back of the saw band. Tighten the screws (g). The
distance should be at least 0.5 mm.
Top guide rollers. (Fig. 15)
Adjust the top guide rollers (f) to the respective saw
band width. The front edges of the guide rollers may
only reach up to the tooth base of the saw band. If
the guide rollers lightly touch the saw band, tighten
the screws (g).
