Shoulder pain

Shoulder pain may emanate from the shoulder joint itself
or from the surrounding structure. Treatment involves
placing one electrode above the front armpit crease, the
other above the rear armpit crease (see fig. 6).
Shoulder/arm pain

If the pain radiates from the shoulder down into the
arm, then one electrode is applied to the main pain
point on the shoulder and the other to the most painful
point on the arm or the point on the arm where the
pain ceases (see fig. 7).
Elbow pain

This is often the result of overloading syndrome. The
outer or inner elbow is affected. During the treatment
the electrodes are applied to the inner and outer ends
of the elbow crease (see fig. 8) or, where the pain ra-
diates into the forearm, one electrode on the main pain
point of the elbow and a second on the radiating point
of the forearm (see fig. 9).
