Do not allow PierenPlus basic to be dropped, handled incorrectly, exposed to
extreme temperatures or high humidity (only use at temperatures between
10 °C and 40 °C and a relative humidity of less than 90 %).
Never use the PierenPlus basic if it functions incorrectly or has been damaged.
Care must be taken when the PierenPlus basic is used on or in the proximity
of children.
Store the PierenPlus basic in the original packaging after use to protect it
against damage and soiling.
Precautionary measures
In the case of patients with an implanted electronic device (e. g. pacemaker) no
stimulation should be carried out with the PierenPlus basic without the prior con-
sultation of a doctor. The PierenPlus basic may only be connected to one patient for
stimulation.
Warning!
The simultaneous connection of the patient to a high-frequency surgical device
may lead to burns beneath the electrodes. Operation in the vicinity of a short wave
or microwave device may cause fluctuations in the output value of the PierenP-
lus basic. Portable and mobile RF communication devices may also influence the
PierenPlus basic. The minimum surface of the electrodes should not be less than 2
cm2.
