4. Pushing and holding the left [▼] and the [ P ] button for three seconds:
The [ P ] button is locked respectively unlocked. If the device is locked, the
[ ]] symbol appears in the display, an acoustic signal will sound up and
no other programme can be selected.
5. Pushing the [ E ] button sets the device into therapy time mode (see therapy
time mode). Pushing and holding the [ E ] button for three seconds leads to
the date/time mode (see date/time mode).
6. Pushing and holding the left [▼] and [ E ] button for three seconds sets the
device into readout mode (see readout mode).
NOTE:
The removal of the battery resets the stimulation time to zero.
Turn-off
Press [•] to turn-off the device: A single beep indicates that the PierenPlus basic
turns-off. The PierenPlus basic turns-off automatically after 2 minutes if no key is
pressed.

Therapy mode

In therapy mode, the LCD display shows the selected programme, the remaining
treatment time, the frequency, the pulse width and the intensity.
1. Push [•] or [ P ] to stop the therapy. The PierenPlus basic returns to
standby-by mode
2. Push the left [▲] respectively the left [▼] button to adjust the intensity of
channel 1(from 0 to 60 mA).
3. Push the right [▲] respectively the right [▼] button to adjust the intensity
of channel 2 (from 0 to 60 mA).
4. When the therapy time is over the therapy is interrupted and the device
returns to ready mode.
