Operating Device - Pierenkemper PierenPlus basic Gebrauchsanweisung

Due to battery ordinance guidelines you are obliged to return used batteries or
rechargeable batteries to your dealer or municipal collection point.
Operating the device
Start up
Prior to starting up the product the batteries supplied should be placed in the
battery compartment (see also "Replacing batteries" section). All symbols appear
briefly on the LCD display and a signal tone is heard.
Switch on
Push the [•] key: You hear an acoustic signal and the PierenPlus basic is in
standby mode.
Ready mode
The LCD display shows the selected programme, the duration of therapy, the fre-
quency, the pulse width and intensity.
1. Press the [ P ] key for programme selection.
2. Press the left [▲] key: the PierenPlus basic goes into therapy mode and the
intensity for Channel 1 is increased by 1 mA (see Therapy-Mode).
3. Press the right [▲] key: the PierenPlus basic goes into therapy mode and
the intensity for Channel 2 is increased by 1 mA.
ATTENTION!
The device has a so called „electrode control". At an intensity of
10 mA, the intensity is put down to 0 if the electrodes are not connected properly.
