Switching on and off
Requirements
• You have checked that the device
and cutting unit are not damaged.
• You are carrying the device bal-
anced on the double shoulder
strap.
• Batteries inserted.
Switching on
1. Press the On/Off button (12).
The charge level indicator (11) on
the device lights up.
2. Use the speed button (2) to select
the desired level.
3. Hold the device by both handles.
4. Press the start lever (4).
The engine starts. Die cutting unit
rotates.
You can now start mowing.
Switching off
1. Release the start lever (4).
2. Wait until all moving parts have
come to a standstill.
3. Press the On/Off button (12).
The charge level indicator (11) on
the device goes out.
4. Open the click fastener (7) and put
the device down.
Transport
• Switch off the device, wait until all
moving parts have come to a com-
plete standstill and remove the bat-
teries.
• Always fit the transport protection
(25) to metal cutting tools.
• Carry the device with one hand on
the upper shaft tube (17) and one
hand on the lower shaft tube (24).
This will prevent you from coming
into contact with dangerous parts
during transport (e.g. cutting unit).

• Keep a safe distance from other
people during transport.
• Transporting in a vehicle: Secure
the device against tipping over and
damage. Ensure the device is se-
curely positioned.
Cleaning,
maintenance and
storage
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Protect your-
self when performing maintenance or
cleaning work. Switch off the device,
wait until all moving parts have come
to a complete standstill and remove
the batteries.
CAUTION! Cutting injuries! Wear
cut-resistant gloves when working
with the blades.
You should have any repair and main-
tenance work that is not described in
these instructions carried out by our
Service Centre. Only use original re-
placement parts.
Cleaning
• Clean the cutting unit and the pro-
tective cover of grass and soil each
time after cutting.
• Keep the handles clean and free of
grass.
• Clean the device with a soft brush
or a cloth.
• Protect the device from dam-
age. The device must neither be
sprayed with water nor be put into
water.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or
solvents.
