Attaching and removing the
protective cover
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
ejected objects! Only use the device
with the protective cover fitted.
Tools and aids required
• 2 × Screw

• Phillips screwdriver PH2 (Combina-
tion tool, 31)
Fitting the protective cover (Fig. B)
1. Position the protective cover (27)
on the shaft mount (41).
2. Fasten the protective cover (27)
with the screws (40).
Removing the protective cover

1. Remove the screws (40).
2. Remove the protective cover (27).
Fitting the two-piece handle
Assembly (Fig. A)
1. Loosen the shaft tube mounting
screw (38) on the upper shaft tube
(17).
2. Push the lower shaft tube (24) as
far as possible into the upper shaft
tube (17).
3. Push the lock (39) and slide the
lower shaft tube (24) as far as it
goes into the upper shaft tube (17).
4. Turn the lower shaft tube (24) with
a gentle rotating movement until
the lock (39) clicks into place in the
hole on the upper shaft tube (17).
5. Tighten the shaft tube mount-
ing screw (38) back into place by
hand.
NOTICE! Before you start the device,
make sure that the lower shaft tube is
firmly and securely in place and loc-
ated in the correct position.

Disassembly (Fig. A)
1. Loosen the tube mounting screw
(38).
2. Push the lock (39).
3. Pull the shaft tubes apart.
Fitting the handlebar
Procedure (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the star screw (42) and re-
move the handle mount (43) from
the upper shaft tube (17).
2. Insert the handlebar (22) into the
holder (44) on the upper shaft
tube (17). The plastic ring on the
handlebar (22) must sit in the
guide rail in the holder (44).
3. Attach the handlebar (22) to the
handle mount (43) and star screw
(42). Tighten the star screw (42)
hand-tight.
4. Secure the device cord with the
cable holders (18).
Fitting the carabiner
Notes
• Leave the carabiner fitted. De-
tach the device from the double
shoulder strap using the click
fastener.
• The eyelet can be moved. This al-
lows you to balance the device.
Procedure
1. Open the click fastener (7).
2. Attach the short piece of strap to
the eyelet (8) using the carabiner
(19).
